Welcome to electronic tribes

At that start of 2009 leisure balance and I came up with an idea for clients that had summer free, and nothing to do but deal with the heat. We built experimental song writing. The team had something in common; they had all had a car accident and had ABI (Acquired Brain Injury).
The group was raw, vibrant, creative and rather daring. From this 2 songs were finished, ‘Let it out’ & ‘I love U (If I know who U R)’. Two great songs came out, with the spunk of originality and a voice of their life now. Throughout the year I had new creative artists work with me:

Gaetan Daniel – a talented guitarist, song writer who finished his first album ‘Three Rusted Strings’ in 2009. Gaetan’s music is reflective, funky and is addictive. This album is worth a listen to people who like Nirvana and The Presidents of the United States. Check out his myspacepage.

Selene Mathews – a young 20 year old lyricist/poet who has nearly finished her first album for release in march 2010. Selene is one of the few quadriplegic artists to finish a professional album. She has composed sections of the music and written an moving eclectic album that fits somewhere between Bjork, Morcheeba M83 and Enya.

Renee – a talented country ballad writer. It is a first for Renee, but her songs have a touch of real life and the strength of holding on to a dream.

And then there is S.O.S.

After the summer workshop, we received a grant from the Arts Victoria to start the workshop in Mount Waverly every fortnight for a release in February 2010.
Through the next 6 months each member of the group had a chance to write there own song. One helped the other, and the album was finished.

... The name by the way has a long story. S.O.S. actually has many meanings. Most of them actually rather … (a page on this web page in the future will be up to put in what people think SOS stands for).
